There
are some wonderful, gentle tracks on this album. Bert Jansch's songwriting
is at it's best and the production is perfect - in fact this is my favourite
Jansch album. It was recorded at Bert's home over the space of a year by
Bill Leader. I hadn't seen it around for some time but it has now been
re-released by Wooden Hill and it is turning up in local record stores.
If you want a flavour of the folk side of Bert Jansch's music buy this
album.
