Horse is the name of the band. Horse is also the name of the singer - Horse MacDonald. The band produces a solid and confident performance to back the tremendous vocals. The band made two albums before they split up. The Same Sky was made in 1990 and it seems that the band established their style in this record. The second album God's Home Movie builds on this very firm foundation - the songs on the first album are strong enough, but on the second they are even better. There are some albums that you play when you are in the mood for that type of music - then there are albums that will change your mood when you play them no matter what it was before - God's Home Movie is one of those.

from Horse McDonald with orchestra and it seems that we can look forward
to a solo album, too.
