The
second album from Horse (the band). Once again the vocals from Horse (the
person) are superb - it is more noticeable on this album that she sometimes
sounds like Cher and sometimes she sounds like Annie Lennox, but that
doesn't mean the sound is derivative. The songs and the performance are
original, powerful and more inclined to rock than Cher and Annie.
A superb album - the only duff track is
Imitation, it's a sixties sounding pastiche - the rest are pretty amazing.
