recommended by a Whisperer, Patty Griffin is probably my favourite artist
at the moment. Flaming Red is a masterpiece of an album. Patty had enormous
problems with her record company. There are a couple of stories about
Living With Ghosts - there was a fully produced album which the record
company didn't release and this album is actually a reworking of it almost
as a set of demos. SIlver Bell, the album intended to follow Flaming Red
was rejected and the record company are still retaining it. Hopefully,
the release of 1,000 Kisses will be a sign that that's all in the past.
