Paul Mounsey is from Scotland at the time he made all of these albums he was living and working in Brazil. He takes samples from traditional Scottish, Brazilian and Native American music and combines them with modern guitar, keyboards, traditional bagpipes, flutes and a smattering of Japanese percussion and electronics. Somehow with this disparate range of sounds, cultures and instruments he manages to make beautiful music.
